About me

Hello lovely, so nice that you have found your way to me!

I am Anna Johanna, the founder of a loving space. I created this website in order to make use of my strengths and talents and to give advice and support to people on their paths of personal development.

I have studied Psychology and Cognitive Neurosciences in Göttingen and Munich, worked in children and youth psychiatry and in a psychiatrist’s office and am a registered cognitive behavioral psychotherapist for children and youths.

Accordingly, I’ve acquired a wealth of knowledge and experiences, which I want to make available for more people – independent and separate of diagnoses and therapies.

There are several projects I am doing this through: Online and offline coaching, meditations on insight timer, a monthly mindfulness newsletter. I’ve got loads of other ideas, which I will bring into being in the future.

My work is influenced by many wise, empathic and smart humans.
I call myself lucky to have learned from them and to be able to call some of these

youth psychiatrist Felix Brummer and my yogini Julia Freiberg.

These two seemingly very different people, though being very similar in their hearts, have taught me that silence is not to be feared. That strength has nothing to do with aggression. And that taking a deep breath and and checking your poise and approach can save a lot of effort.

In my studies and further education I was and am able to study the neuropsychological basics of human coping strategies and to collect textbook knowledge about treatments.

I chose consciously to be on my very own lifelong path of exploring my psyche, learning behavior guided by self-love and unlearning old trauma reactions. How wonderful that wise people precede me and give a little light and orientation with their experiences. For example, Tara Brach – with her lectures, books and meditations on Radical Mindfulness; Bessel van der Kolk – a pioneer of body-oriented trauma therapy and author of “The Body Keeps the Score”; or Nicole le Pera – a therapist who makes her knowledge about ego, inner child and trauma therapy freely available online for self-healers.

All these people, my personal lessons and professional experiences have prepared me wonderfully for transitioning into online coaching.

My heart, my intuition and my empathy guide me.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and to accompany you in your very own growth.

This site and my courses are LGBTQIA* friendly.

I am a part of the community and want to create a safe space for queer people.

This also applies to BIPOC, people with disabilities, people of all religions.

If you notice how my site or my offers can better guarantee this, I appreciate your feedback here.
